About the project

Interior design of a coffee shop 40 m² in Mytishchi

The Coffee Coast project is a modern interior of a small coffee shop in Mytishchi with an area of about 40 m². The designers were faced with the task of creating a memorable commercial space that would be comfortable for guests, convenient for the staff and visually related to the corporate style of the institution. The concept of the interior is built on a combination of natural shades of wood, deep blue and a calm gray-white base. This palette is reminiscent of the sea and the coast, but reveals this theme delicately, without literal thematic decor. As a result, the small coffee shop looks modern, spacious and recognizable.

Coffee shop layout and zoning

According to the explication, the total area of the room is 43.30 m². The main part is occupied by a guest room with an area of 36.71 m². There is also a utility room, a bathroom and a separate area with sinks. The bar counter is located along the wall next to the entrance. This solution allows you to immediately direct the visitor to the ticket office and the showcase, without creating intersections between the guest flow and the work of the barista. In the central part of the hall there are compact round tables, and along the wall there is a soft landing area with a sofa and rectangular tables. Different seating options are suitable for both a single visitor and for small companies. Free passages are kept between the tables, so that the interior of the coffee shop remains comfortable even during hours of high load.

Bar counter and work area

The main functional element of the interior is an extended bar counter with an integrated refrigerated display case. Its facade is decorated with vertical blue panels and thin wooden slats. A natural wooden countertop makes the composition warmer and connects the bar area with the furniture of the guest hall. Behind the counter there is a place for a coffee machine, a coffee grinder, a sink, storage of dishes and syrups. Open wooden shelves allow you to keep the necessary ingredients at hand and at the same time participate in the decorative design of the space. Over the bar there is a black metal structure with mesh fences. It emphasizes the height of the room and adds light industrial features to the interior.

Guest room

The hall is decorated with round white tables and wooden chairs with blue textile upholstery. Laconic furniture does not overload the space and supports the overall color concept of the coffee shop. In the far part of the room there is a soft gray-beige sofa. The wall behind it is decorated with a large wooden arch with a neon inscription Coffee Coast. This element has become the main visual accent of the interior, emphasizes the name of the institution and creates an expressive background for photos. Panoramic glazing fills the room with natural light and visually increases the area. Light walls and white furniture further enhance the feeling of open space. A practical coating with a light concrete texture is chosen for the floor. It is suitable for a commercial space with high traffic and maintains the modern character of the interior. Glass blocks transmit light, maintain a sense of airiness and at the same time provide the necessary visual separation of the premises.

Coffee shop lighting

The high open ceiling is painted deep blue. Engineering communications are left visible, which emphasizes the modern industrial style of the interior. The general lighting is organized using track systems. Additional pendant lamps are placed above the tables, soft zone and bar counter. Multilevel light helps zoning the space and creates a cozy atmosphere in the evening.
